BTW, all of the above belong more. Injury or not, Allstar players are decided based on the 1st half of the year (hence Rose wasn't great). The same thing happened to D Will. No shame in that.

Rose is averaging 19/6 shooting 47% on the season.

East: Guards - Joe Johnson, Rajon Rondo
Forwards - Chris Bosh, Paul Pierce
Center - Al Horford
Wild Cards - Gerald Wallace, Stephen Jackson
Just missing out - Derrick Rose, Josh Smith, and David Lee.

West: Guards - Chris Paul, Brandon Roy
Forwards - Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki
Center - Chris Kaman
Wild Cards - Deron Williams, Zach Randolph
Just missing out - Pau Gasol, Carlos Boozer, and Chauncey Billups.

My two controversial picks might be Zach Randolph over Gasol and Stephen Jackson over Rose. However, I think both players deserve credit for turning around teams that are usually picking in the top 5 in draft to legit playoff teams. Add on top of that Gasol has missed a hand full of games and Rose slow start then I think you have to go with the other two.

If Rose doesn't make the All Star team then they need to change how they make up the squads because no player in the NBA is better than Derrick Rose is right now. He is on fire and has been for weeks.
