With this, I think he will pick his option to play another year for the Hornets. There won't be many team to offer him a good contract without see him play again.

People have said on Twitter that he's aiming for a 6 month rehab, so if that was to be true he would be back for training camp, but injuries like that can last a lot longer then expected.

Just the information I got from local reporters here on Twitter, not my opinion. I would guess it would be longer as well.

bad break for him and his team.

Should make the Lakers lives a whole lot easier if we do end up facing the Hornets in the first round.

Huge blow to the Hornets and huge blow to West who was looking to opt out. Unlikely to do so now. Trading for Carl Landry seems to be a very smart deal now

He'll be lucky if its only six months....it's really 6 - 18 months. All depends on how it heals after surgery.

What a REALLY bad break for West, because he was about to become a free agent.....that injury could cost him many millions.

Damn, just an awkward landing and that's all she wrote. Hopefully he can rehab it healthy and not end up like Oden or something.

dude is a bball forum, of course something like what ass smelly said is going to be brought up. Injuries affect the game and we all always talk about the relevancy of the injury to how they will affect the team. Dude is shyt poster, but his post has relevance
