    For me...

    1. Guardians
    2. Watchmen
    3. Deadpool
    4. TDK
    5. X2
    6. First Class
    7. Futures Past
    8. Batman Begins
    9. The Wolverine
    10. Ironman 1

I just can't get into Toby McGuire Spiderman movies, none of them. I have a hard time getting into Avengers as well. They just aren't for me I guess.

So this is Post-2000 then or what?

tons of superhero movies existed before the recent cash cow, surely at least one must crack the list

    Marvel movies are easily predictable.

Yeah they're pretty vanilla in format

They'd never make something like BvS/Watchmen/TDK/BB/TDKR/Spiderman 2 (Not the new marvel disney cinematic universe)

Every super hero movie outside of Watchmen is.

The good guy(s) beats the bad guy(s).

    This.

No respect here for Batman Returns?? At its time it was a helluva movie. DeVito as Penguin?? There really isn't a better actor suited for that role. Keaton is still a top 3 Batman.

And if we're talking superhero movies then are we also looking outside just Marvel and DC? Would TMNT classify as superhero? If so then then the 1990 and TMNT 2 still holds a special place in my heart, not just for nostalgia but definitely story telling and sheer entertainment.

Guardians to/for me is like the most rewatchable movie of all time. I've seen it 8 times and will see it a 9th later this week, just never gets old.
And a personal favorite of mine is Superman II. Old school, but Zod and his minions are great villains that terrorize the White House and are a good match for Superman. I also love Dark Knight Rises more than the other Batman (Batmen?) because I just love huge fights.

    Watchmen

the way the superheroes were deconstructed and made them vile is the complete antithesis of anything superhero movies were done

also KickAss, especially the first one

It's not technically a movie, it's a dialogue recorded in ancient Greece by Plato.

But they should make a movie about it IMO.

I personally can't watch Batman Begins anymore and I don't feel like his Batman films are trilogy.

Nolan set up this Blade Runner-esque aesthetic for the film with narrow sets that made Gotham look like a district.

Then in the next two films he abandoned these sets and Gotham just looked like regular Chicago.

It throws it off completely. They feel like completely different films.
