Default Should Vegas have a D-League Team?

Do you guys think that if Stern were to ever actually try Las Vegas as a market for a franchise, he should let Vegas have a D-League team first to see the city's response?

That's actually a really good point. Rather than jumping into it and not having any interest (cough...New Orleans...cough) then he should give them a D-League team first to test the waters. I think they probably will end up just moving the Kings there eventually though

Thats a great idea. I agree with BLow, stern should test the water first. Because vegas had a hard time filling up Kings preseason games there, so one might question their fan base.

And hurry up and give them a dleague team, so my Kings dont move.

there should not be a team in Vegas period.

If the team is ever bad does anyone actually think people will go watch them instead of the 100's of better things to do there?

I disagree.

D-League teams, no matter where they are, don't generate a ton of interest. They especially wouldn't generate much interest in a town like Vegas.

Horrible idea.

In a small-market like LV which would know that it would need to support its d-league team in order to get an nba team, i bet it would be a decent measure of interest.
