I like to know as little as possible about a movie before i watch it. I don't watch trailers and don't read reviews prior to a movie. I typically decide to see a movie solely based on recommendation or a short read of the plot. The cast can sometimes be a factor too.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in everything now. But nobody knows him from the very underrated movie Brick (2005).
His best role is still Mysterious Skin by far for me. Pretty disturbing film (has to do with pedophilia, rape, etc.) but a very relevant movie especially when you consider all the Sandusky stuff recently.
He does a fantastic job. And although it may be tough to sit through, it's a movie I would recommend to everyone.
