Both Kevin Durant and Kobe have had 2 horrible playoff performances so far.

I'm sure he would of used the same line if he was playing Lebron. Not exactly earth shattering.

Everyone respects Kobe more because they know the refs hate him and call him horribly, I won't argue that if anyone is gonna try to say something because I promised I wouldn't talk about it for a few weeks, I got tired of asking for evidence on youtube of Kobe getting consistent superstar calls like there is evidence on youtube of Wade and Lebron getting them, the response back is usually "Why do you need proof?' and that infuriates me.

Anyways what do you think this means?

Kobe said he didn't need a game like this, but that "a few of you inkers (journalists)" perhaps did.

Is he talking about the closeness and intensity of the game or him scoring 39 pts?

When was the last time Shaq was mentioned as top 3 in the L or TD Kobe's name is always mentioned as top 3 since 04-05 and mix that with a ring he's gonna get respect as the best

of you watched all season .. and you watched the first 2 games. Only someone that is delusional would find that statement laughable. Theyre at about the same level, you can go either way at this point.

You cant deny that first 2 games, the frontcourt has been the difference. Game 1 was obvious domination, Game 2 was more subtle..but if you paid attention the Lakers just dominated the Thunder on the boards

Is this the point where Kobe fans start calling Kobe the best again even though it's clear as day as to who the best player is?

Yeah there really isn't a debate. Kobe fans are in denial, it is sad to see Kobe de thrown by some called King James how fitting. I mean 1 assist for the entire night, you know you aren't the best anymore.
