Default Breaking news: NBA teams disband, fantasy draft to be held.

obviously not really but lets pretend, the NBA disbands and every team gets to start over.

In what order do you see the draft playing out?

Remember this does not mean rank the players in order from best to worst, if a fantasy draft started today how would each player fall.

1. Kevin Durant- pretty much a toss up here at # 1, Lebron is better right now butt Kevin Durant is only 24 while Lebron is 28 and will be exiting his athletic prime very soon, and for a player who rely so heavily on his athletic ability you have to wonder. With the first pick I think the team picks the younger superstar who has proven that he can produce on the NBA's biggest stage.

2. Lebron James. If you don't take him #1, 29 other teams are salivating for the opportunity to take him here, no question.

3. Kyrie Irving. Maybe a little high, and maybe a little too hyped but Kyrie is showing signs of becoming the next major superstar in the NBA, he's already one of the most clutch players in the league, is capable of dropping 25 5 & 6 on nearly 50 40 90 on any given night, is one of the more composed players in the league with a deity like basketball IQ, oh and did i mention that he's only 20.

4. Dwight Howard- You can't teach size, and sometimes you can't teach NBA GM's that size isn't always the end all be all of basketball players. However, even with a year in which he's looked more like a 3rd option with good to great defense i have a feeling most GM's would take a chance on the post back surgery Howard. Don't believe me? Just wait until the off season..

5. Chris Paul- One of if not the best point guard in the game for the last 5 years, can turn a 32 win team into a 50 win team (see Clippers). Is one of the smartest players in the game, clutch as hell and is probably the most consistent player outside of Lebron & Durant. You can't go wrong choosing Cp3 as your franchise player.

6. James Harden. This season has proved a lot for Harden, he is capable of being a go to guy in this league, he's had some off nights, but anybody transitioning from being the 3rd option to being the 1st is going to have some struggles. And with the injuries to Rose & Rondo this allows Harden to sky rocket in the draft and be selected 6th overall.

7. Steph Curry- Again, another young prospering point guard who is having a tremendous season, should have been an all star but regardless, he'll be one for years to come. With his expert shooting ability and versatility to run point & play off ball, combined with his massive potential and

8. Blake Griffin- Young, explosive and a 20 & 10 player for years to come, also comes with gobbs of media exposure as well as instant season ticket sell outs.

9. Russell Westbrooke- one of the most exciting young players in the league today, needs to improve his bball IQ and sometimes comes off as a selfish me first player. However, if a team were willing to build the team around him that opinion of him may be changed.

10. Derrick Rose- Last time this guy was healthy for an entire year he won MVP and took his team to the ECF. Has top 3 pick potential but falls this low due to INJURY and only INJURY. An ACL tear for a player like D Rose could be detrimental to the rest of his career, although we have yet to witness what D Rose will look like when he comes back I still think a team takes a chance on him with the 10th pick. To much upside not to.

Ok, well theres the top 10 IMO on how the draft would go if it was done today, notice i didn't just list the top 10 players in the league, instead of opting to look at the players with the most youth & upside going forward.

Feel free to agree or disagree or even fill out the rest of the first round.

Honorable mention/mid to late first round picks- Anthony Davis, Jrue Holiday, Andrew Bynum, Damian Lillard, Rajon Rondo, Brooke Lopez, Carmelo Anthony, Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh..etc

Agree with this part. Not to mention he is not clutch, always passes at the last seconds of the game, and haven't proven he can win without stacking his team with 2 other superstars.

Marc Gasol, Bynum or Lopez>Howard.

You can't teach size but Howard's only 6'9 and without hops will be useless because how skillless he is.

I'd take Durant #1, and Marc Gasol #2.

A team built completely to Marc Gasol's strength and an offense running through him would be amazing.
