Nice win for the Kings, maybe they can sneak into the playoffs now and get swept by the mavs?
Another good game from the K-Martin. His confidence has grown a lot since even earlier this year, he demands the ball now at times. And he is confident enough to think he can score on anyone.
Great passing by the Kings tonight. 20 some assists to 10 TOs. Thats pretty solid. BM52 was finding them cutters like he did in the adelman era. Good memories!
Randoph's jumper has improved A LOT over the last few seasons. His a pretty solild PF now, horrible defender though. Roy is a pretty good PG also; look for him to blow up next year ala Deron Williams.
this was a great win, and this team is playing their best basketball of the season! this was a must-win imo to followup on friday's performance. they're rolling right now and the reason why is because they're focusing on each team and taking it game-by-game instead. Ron Artest came up big late, and the Kings have not been behind a single point this weekend, including friday.
Why We Won:
Free Throw Shooting: They got to the line and took advantage of it, they shot 21 of 22. they were all important.
Valuing the Basketball: they had 21 assists and only 9 turnovers. taking care of the ball is extremely important when you're on the road on a back-to-back. points in the paint also helped balance what we outrebounded by.
Great Games By:
Kevin Martin: 11 of 19 shooting, 33 points he was fantastic tonight and picked up the slack for Mike Bibby. what i liked more about his game was the 6 assists. made all his free throws.
Ron Artest: shot 10 of 16 from the floor for 23 points, only forced it once. had 9 rebounds, and made all the big shots down the stretch, he stepped it up.
btw...Mike Bibby hurt something, whether it was his wrist or shoulder...but it might have effected his game, did not shoot well at all, we'll have to keep our eye on that.
What is their identity? A scoring juggernaut that thrives on guards cuttin off screens
lately, it's been scoring and little defense. they're starting to get the stops when they need them, and they're just taking better shots by moving the ball.

The ball movement has picked up.
I read something in the paper today about how Muss spends less time with the players pre-game. Like he only sees the team 30 minutes before the game instead of spending hours of pregame stuff.
Maybe muss is just letting the players play instead of over-coaching...
