Yeah, Rose is an exceptional athlete. If I had to only judge a player athleticism using the eye-test, Rose looks like the best athlete on the floor every night.

Are we going by NBA standards or world standards? I'm sure someone might be the most flexible or coordinated etc player in the NBA but I doubt he's anywhere near world class in those areas.

That still has little to do with the actual distribution; e.g. the difference that separates the #1 guy and the #2 guy could be the same as the difference between the #2 guy and the very worst guy. In that case, #1 = 10, #2 = 5.5, last place = 1. Or things can be top heavy and 90% of the league could be 9~10 while the rest are a 1.

Wrong, you can't justify randomly picking a distribution that fits your agenda of saying Lebron should be 10 across the board just because there aren't 20 people better than him in each category.

why not? you can break it down to relativity. the strongest guy will be a 10. he'll raise what is the average which is a 5. so relatively shaq would be 10 amd the the time malone is a 8. bit right now, theres nobody who is clear cut stronger than lebron
