How about double team, but his team mates are so good they will kill u for it. Dude has been playing iso all game long that's why he looks so good. No superstar has the luxary to play iso that much.
Seriously, did NOBODY watch the game? Durant had just 5 fewer FTA's than Dirk. OKC had MORE FTA's than Dallas. It was a tightly called came, but it was tightly called both ways. Don't be an idiot.

Thats been the dilemma for teams playing the Mavs. If you want to double Dirk, they'll put Kidd, Peja and Terry out there and murder you from 3 and Dirk will still get 20 ppg. If you want to let him play iso, he'll murder you himself.
I'm a Mavs fan, but if I was trying to stop us I would double Dirk and make Terry/Peja/Kidd hit 3s. Everyone is scared to do that after game 4 vs LA, but I will tell you that hasn't been there all season.

Yeah, I watched. I watched as one team earned their fouls driving to the basket and the other person got quite a few ticky-tack fouls as a jump shooter, to the tune of FOUR TIMES as many free throws that he got during the regular season.

OKC should've went that direction tonight. Terry and Peja were off and Kidd didn't even look at the basket.

And you also saw those drivers pick up a few phantom ghost fouls too. Dude when two guys are shooting more FTs than an entire team you have zero room to complain about refs. Sorry take the L get ready for Thursday.
Put Serge on him. Athletic with good length. Hes OKC's best bet.
Still Too Short.
Nobody in the NBA can block Notwitski's fadeaway. You need to be athletic just to contest it, because he's going away from you quickly and he jumps and releases his shot high. AND he's 7 Feet.
I'm not sure Russell could get in consistently. Maybe Thurmond or Wilt could.

It's better to dare them I agree but it's dangerous to leave terry and Peja open because both are streaky but when they get hot. Well you saw what happened against the Lakers. Leaving Kidd open and daring him to beat you yes I agree Peja and Terry you gotta rotate over and run them off those shots or they'll just start dumping those in and ya look up and that 4 point score difference is now 10.
