The actual temps aren't that bad tbh, I could typically deal with low-mid 90s, but the humidity just makes it god awful. Dew points near the 80 degree mark made it like 106 here today and tomorrow it will probably be feeling like 110. But this summer has been pleasant up until this point so I won't complain that much.

the west and southwest heat u guys r talking about is a DRY heat. it's hot, ya - but u don't sweat profusely and suffer heat exhaustion like folks do in the midwest and east when it gets real hot.

I haven't stayed in Arizona for more than a trip, but yea 110+ is hot. I stayed in Santa Fe for awhile, but that's on a mountain. Big ass snowflakes in Santa Fe.

I dunno man, south TX heat is pretty formidable even tho we are by the water and it rarely gets above 100 actual temp. It's like DAT SUN. Been record highs here, too.

edit: Laredo is prol the hottest feeling place I've ever been. Cuz it's got those 'high temps' plus DAT sun plus it no sea breeze.

    I walk ~5 miles a day...

Can't do that in 108 heat index.

You illegals may be able to weather it but I have fair skin and temperment.

93 degrees here in Wisconsin , then got slammed with a vicious rain storm -
    2 1/2 inchs in an hour ....
Driveway washed out , two trees down in back yard , one crushing my orchard.

    72 today.

I forgot you must live near me. I went to work on Saturday for 4 hours of overtime to help out and some places in the building with the AC down were like 91 degrees with 95% humidity. Just standing there for two minutes caused your to pour sweat.

After work I went grocery shopping with my wife when the storms hit and people were running inside and I'm just walking slowy in the rain welcoming it.

I'm a fan of dry heat. As mentioned already, humidity makes you uncomfortable. Last 2 nights it was rough. I didn't turn on the AC and tried to sleep through it with a window fan and a tower fan pointed at me.

    DID

    NOT

    MATTER

But at least I'm awake now. Let's see how the rest of this day goes.

    Storm snapped it in half.

Heat is bad here in Florida, but I guess we're used to it.
