hawkfan is starting to rub some people the wrong way
Default hawkfan Trade Scenario (where amazing happens): Hawks and Hornets

Hornets get

Marvin Williams
Kirk Hinrich (expirer)
2nd round pick

Hawks get

Chris Kaman

The Hawks get Kaman to play at center.

The Hornets get a young player in Marvin Williams, and an expirer in Hinrich. Hinrich can be swapped out later for a draft pick and another expirer, since it is smaller.

Man, you're trading Hinrich everywhere.

But why do the Hornets want Marvin Williams and his contract? They have Trevor Ariza making some money, why do they want Marvin Williams?

Might have to trade a 1st round pick...probably SHOULD trade Al Horford, but getting back Kaman and even offloading Williams (if New Orleans was willing to) doesn't seem like enough.

I'd rather have Okafor, to be honest. Okafor would be a better fit than Horford, unless Horford is the center in a running offense. Doesn't seem to be the case.

Marvin has 2 years left after this season, so his contract is not that bad.

Hinrich isn't coming back to the Hawks, unless he takes a big paycut below full MLE. He might get a better offer and not have to do that.
