Default Looking Ahead???

Following last night's win over the TWolves, Brandon Roy stated that the team might have been looking ahead to their matchup against the Lakers.

Also, to anyone who actually watched the game last night, what did you think of Outlaw's rejection at teh end of the game??? I think he was surprised that the shot was that low, because he absolutely spiked the ball like a volleyball!!! Thoroughly enjoyed that - will have to see when / if it will show up on youtube - just searched youtube and saw his last second block of Linus Klieza's 3 pt attempt from last season.

The other night was a rare night where I didn't get to see the game, so I'm curious to see the block.

As for looking ahead, it is important that the team doesn't start to overlook teams. The best teams are ready for a given night. Against teams like the Wolves, Knicks, Pacers, etc, we need to kill the teams from the start and that won't happen if we are mentally preparing for games that will take place later.

hmmm ... interesting perspective from Roy. Were they also looking ahead when they needed an 11-0 run against the Pacers and then had to hold on at the end? Were they also looking ahead when the Nuggets stepped all over them?

Perhaps this team needs to readjust their focus to the current game. The Pacers and the Wolves at home should have been 10-15 point victories. The Nuggets on the road was a good test against a playoff team on the road.

The Blazers have not been playing well lately.
