wtf happened to LSU? i don't see them on the brackets and from what i remember they beat florida.
At the start of the season i thought they could make it to the sweet 16.
Davis is listed as 6'9 more like 6'8 and you want him to replace Mutumbo? Why don't you just sign Boykins to backup Yao... he'll be a free agent next year.

Big Baby and Lazare got hurt and they lost alot of SEC games.... Davis and Lazare came back in the SEC tourney and they mandhandled Tennessee, I thought they had a chance at making a run for the SEC championship and getting an automatic bid (with their record the only way into the tournament for them) but they scored something like 8 points in the 1st half against Ole Miss and LSU's season was officially garbage
I think he will probably go in the 2nd round, although I think with workouts he has the talent and the name to push him into the 20's. I don't think he will ever be a great NBA player, maybe a solid backup, but he is almost too small to play PF, much less center. If he can keep his weight down and continues to improve though, I think he could be a starter someday.
According to nbadraft.net Davis is projected to be undrafted. Why would he declare when his stock is at an all-time low due to injury?
i dont think he made the right decision either. he should have waited one more year. and seeing the incoming freshman class for next he might make a case of late first round in the 2008 draft if he went to LSU for one more year.
He's at best 20th overall imo, we have guys like him coming to the nba and did not do too well. Good example was Robert Taylor. So much hype for him back then with the wovlerines but in nba he did not play well.
i think he came out 1 year to late, last year he was a lock to be a lottery pick but just like what everyone else has said it's a DEEP draft this year for big men. I'm thinking a late 1st round pick.
