All jokes a side...this freaking sucks. Really was looking forward to see him play as the go to guy this season. He has a good young team built around him as well.

Why is GOOB acting like this is no big deal?

Iggy has 18 months left on his contract including a player option in 13/14.

Philly has a 64 million dollar payroll this year with a full roster and a 46 million dollar payroll in 13/14 that only accounts for 8 or so roster spots.

They essentially gave Iggy away for nothing and lost his trade value and player value at the same damn time.

Utter failure of a move here.

Its not. The fans here wanted Iggy gone. He made a ton of money eating up payroll. So we continue to ride it out wityh Iggy until he becomes an unrestricted free agent? Sitting in the land of mediocrity where you are a 1 and done playoff team in a conference that overall isnt strong? Use your head simpleton. Sixers overvalued Iggy so to think he would have had value to be moved had he not been tgraded for Bynum is hilarious. They had no intentions on moving Iggy for expirers so nix those hawkfan trade proposal deals. They wanted a legit star caliber player in return. Fact, not fiction. Iggy has been on the trade table for years yet this is the only time he was moved? Oh for a legitimate big man. They gambled on a guy like Bynum, I'm not mad. But they overvalue Iggy which is why his tenure here has been long overdue.

Hardly a failure because Bynum costs the Sixers nothing in the long run. Sixers can take the cap space, the assets on the team to be traded and make moves. I wouldnt mind being your Cavs living in the land of lottery until it works. But Iggy prevented that.

How is Evan Turner by the way? I cant hear you. Whats that? Another prospect you hyped up that became a dud.

Right because i've made thread bashing Sixers players and it never backfired. I've made threats/posts bashing the Sixers team, coaching, front office and it never backfired. So where do you get off thinking what you typed is valid?

**** anyone who is happy about this.
Best wishes to Andrew, hope he can recover from this somehow and has a prolonging and successful career with Philly. Absolutely hate seeing gifted players' career ruined due to injury.

Not only did Philly give up Iggy, but they also gave up Nikola Vucevic (who's nearly averaging a double-double) and Moe Harkless, two young and promising players who are starting for the Magic and look like two good young players.
