It really would be great if the NBA measured accurate, barefoot metric heights, rounded to the nearest 1/4" (when displayed in feet/inches)

I don't see the point in measuring without shoes, I mean you're in shoes throughout most the day

Durant is like the only star that downplays his height. Most of them over play it.

Terrible picture to compare heights between Stan and Kevin
Can't see their lower body/shoes

that's not how tall you are unless you have a napoleon complex
Does your doctor tell you to keep your shoes on when he wants to check your height?
Do football players measure their height in cleats and helmet?
Do hockey players measure their height on skates?
Cyclists on bikes?
Come on man... biological height is the ONLY way to be honest, so that people can actually grasp how big players are and compare them to other athletes etc. Shoes are an inconsistent sized and potentially ever-changing variable. Variables need to be removed in order to make ANY comparisons, no matter what the subject is, plain and simple.

Not all shoes give the same amount of height. Some give less than an inch. Others can give almost 2.
