If less games/more spread out schedule means less injuries then hell yeah

Doesn't matter since Wilt owns it.

Reduce to 50 games, contract to 20 teams, raise the rims to 11 feet, widen the court and move the 3 pt line back, award technicals for flopping, call fouls on the offensive player when they throw themselves into the defender, and call travelling.

It's also obvious that hardcore fans would like hand-checking back and don't like the unbalanced nature that the league has now which favors guards over pf's and centers.
But none of this will change, because pleasing hardcore fans and quality of play doesn't matter in comparison to overall revenue.
58 games would be the absolute minimum. Playing each team twice makes a lot of sense. I actually would be in favor of 66 games. Each team in the league twice...then 2 extra games against each division opponent. I believe that would be 58 plus 8 for 66 total games.
I think that is the perfect number. I think you could get rid of all back to back games with that as well.
Totally in favor of seeding 1 through 16 as well.
That would definitely lead to better 2nd round matchups.

get rid of conferences, shorten to 70 or so games or somehow get rid of back to backs and add teams in europe

More games equals more basketball equals more games to enjoy.
My only issue with this many games is increasing chance of injury.

Yea, but wouldn't you rather have less injuries and more quality competition? Back to backs and the length of the schedule really hurt the quality of play on a nightly basis in the league...it also gives teams a bigger margin of error.
There is no doubt the on court product would be improved playing 16 or so less games a year in the regular season.

They should just move the Pacers and Colluders to the West and fold the rest of the East
