Which NBA player would have been the most successful if they weren't so gifted?
If they did not have enough talent to make the NBA, which player would have been the most successful in their life. I think in recent memory, I would say Shane Battier because he seems pretty intelligible. I wouldn't be surprised if one day he's on a team's front office squad.

Jeremy Lin? Dude went to Harvard, I'm sure he could be some hotshot somewhere.
That being said, even if he was 12th man on the bench in the NBA, he would bank more

Wrong instrument.
Answer is Wilt. Could have been boxer, singer, track star or porn performer.

To me that's a stereotype, just because he went to Harvard he would be the most successful. He had a 3.1 GPA in economics. That can merit a 50-55K starting salary probably. Especially from Harvard. A 3.1 GPA is decent and OK for certain graduate schools. But I think claiming he would be the most successful is a far cry.
I will admit though from people from my high school (the very few) who went to Harvard. They seemed to have insane network potential with all the meetings/clubs/events that are set up on their campuses.

What? If you define success as income, he'd definitely be a candidate for the top spot.

Garnett.
Would have made a fortune as a hitman with his talents in lynching.
Or Bill Walton, standing amongst Plato, Nietzsche and Descartes as a king philosopher.

Steve Kerr, dude has been a TV commentator, GM and now a head coach and he wasn't a gifted NBA player.

But he gor those positions because he was in the NBA.
He didn't go at it like Jeff Van Gundy, his way.
