from watching most C's games, it's always a tight game - it doesnt matter who they're playing lol. Anyone know why? I think its because of rondo

It's because of Rivers.

Kenny Smith made a great point about the offense the Lakers are running. He said that the other team will too often be in the game and that the Lakers would have fewer blowouts than they should have.

Same is true about the Celtics. You've seen their heart bring them back from 27 down. You've also seen them allow other teams to stay close. Not only that, but if the Celtics come out with a point to prove and start bashing the other team (think of the 1st quarter against Washington this year, think of the game against Philly in the playoffs last year) they always allow the other team to make up the huge gap, the same way they make up the gap.

They have the heart but they don't win like a great team should win. The way the Heat are playing now, the Celtics are never capable of playing that way.

That's a really slow start of the season.
