Harden scores more and is also more efficient, and generates more of his buckets himself. His ability to stay on the court and not take every 4th game off like Wade has is the reason why he deserves to be ranked higher this regular season.

Now that doesn't necessarily mean you would take him over a healthy Wade in a series, but Wade doesn't deserve that benefit of the doubt anymore after dealing with injuries his past two playoff runs - despite taking games off to rest. He sat out 9 of the last 14 games going into the playoffs last season and 9 of the last 15 the year before. It's no longer one of those "he's being rested, wait for vintage Wade in the playoffs " guaranteed situations anymore.

yea wade isnt the best sg anymore..and scoring has nothing to do with it...harden has a better deep ball and mid range....at this stage he also has a better driving game. he is quicker and more explosive. u people gotta open your eyes..wade had a good run....he looked like the second comin of michael jordan in the 06 finals and continued his path of greatness all the way up until ill say the 2012 season but now he just isnt the same.

Harden's midrange game isn't pitiful, but it isn't that good either. He takes 12% of his FGs from midrange, and is shooting around 39% from there. Not the worst numbers, but it's not even close to Wade. Wade shoots 26% of his FGs from midrange and is knocking down around 43% of them. Substantially better.
