I'm watching the Kings and Lakers preseason game andthey say Mike Bibby has a torn ligament in his right hand. Damn, aint that a *****. Whose going to step up at PG for the Kings?
The Kings point guard situation is a mess now, they suck at ball handling.... they had a hard time bringing it up for freaken sakes. Douby is a 2 guard, he's a disaster as our pg. Start Garcia or Salmons there...

lol Salmons choked handling the ball last season in crucial situations. He got flustered and ended up turning the ball over a key moments. Garcia is too inconsistent IMO to run point. He'd probably launch 3's with 20 seconds left on the shot clock. I heard Theus is probably going to start Greene over Douby.
He was suspended because of his plea for domestic violence. Players can be suspended if they are convicted/plea out to crimes.
I've heard that he is trying to plead his case to the league in an effort to reduce his suspension.
Ruben Patterson got only 5 games for trying to rape his housemaid once and Artest got 7 for domestic violence.
Bibby is going to be out for a while. Bee is suggesting that the Kings are looking at Gary Payton (who's agent contacted the Kings during the summer) and Early Boykins. Recently waived Rocket's guard, Lucas might be in the mix too.

Well, it is Artest, who has a history with the league, so that probably factors into this.

Boykins isn't interested because he wants more than the minimum, and I don't see why the kings need GP or Lucas because in all honesty, I don't think signing a vet or journeyman PG is really going to make that much difference on this team.
Artest has a hearing on 11-1 I believe ( Thursday). He did plea to domestic violence, but he has done all the requirements that the courts imposed and more, so just maybe the person who hears the case will reduce his suspension time, and this is a special person who hears the appeals, not the Mr. Stern.
i think greene could do a decent job stepping in for a bit, even just for the defensive intensity...i say give it to fransisco and help him get his confidence up so the rest of his game will be elevated too...douby isn't much of a passer, he's definitely a sg...
also i think udrih will help out too in bibby's absence - the little bit i've seen him play in SA wasn't bad...not exactly elite, but he looked like he had some decent vision *shrug*
