Smush scored 11,5 last year, in his first season as a starter (and he was nearly a rookie, with minutes he got before).
He may outscore Rad next year, even if it's not a lock.

Its actually a very relevant issue when you consider that so many teams collapse on Kobe because they can!

So, whether its Rad or Odom, someone will need to emerge and I would hope for 20 a game from that second option.

Or, the Lakers get a legit and proven second option.

anyone with a consistent and clutch J can help our team. when they collapse on Kobe, that player(s) HAS to hit the shot. They didn't against the Suns which is why we lost 3 in a row.

Besides Odom and Kobe we need one more gaurd who can take it to the hole most of the time instead od shooting first.

We'd be a lot better off if smush was a drive first shoot second player.
