NBA Needs to step it's Tech Game up and get Instant Replay
I know this is the NBA forum but I'm not up out this MOFO talking about Technical fouls. I'm talking about we need computers with joysticks on the sidelines blowing whistles with any infraction it's highly advanced video software happens to catch. Same way computer controlled traffic lights equipped with cameras can ticket you for running red lights, speeding, etc. We have the technology to do that now, the NBA needs to use it. This isn't that Windows 95 nonsense, they got Pentium's on 24's now, (probably gold daytons) that can process all information faster than the speed of light.
Referees are employed by the league. In the playoffs, referees take over the league, by taking over games. I'm not down with this getting paid under the table BS to keep games even and maintain higher ratings.
We need to relegate the human error here. Get the ref's the F off the court. Integrate computers where no errors are possible so we can see the game played in the purest form possible. Boston would never be able to beat the Miami Heat without getting ref favoritism. Everybody knows these ref's give franchise superstars all the calls/no calls. When was the last time Kobe Bryant was ever called for traveling? Kobe has anything to say about a computer making Kobe's game come correct, then put sensors in the floorboards, so the computer can print up that data up, if he doesn't think he travels as much as he does. If Kobe still wants to contest the call, the computer can pick up on his tone of voice and call him for another Technical if he comes off too aggressive.
These NBA super computers will be able to make more accurate calls than today's NBA's refs. Like the one that cited LeBron for a tech, for simply sprinting to his team's bench. We don't need that kind of p*ssy power tripping on the court. We got cheerleaders for that. So get with the times, either integrate instant replay on ALL CALLS made, or use computers to make 100% correct calls. You don't know how many times I've seen a ball go out of bounds and the wrong team was awarded the ball. No replay shown, it's whatever the ref's say. So either instant replay on every call made, or REF's GTFO the NBA to make way for the future.

I'm not reading all that because you're a troll, but I will give my honest opinion on the topic.
I think the NBA should hire a fourth ref who only watches game tape on the sideline. Any time a call is made that he disagrees with, he can override the call.
He also can more quickly go over replays during the final two minutes (when they are used) and they can more easily expand the use of replay due to how quickly this fourth ref would be able to scan over it.

I feel the same way, I feel that the NBA needs to add another ref that's not on the court... hell they could even have an office in the middle of nowhere and he just watches any reviewable calls...

NBA refs are in a union. That is gonna be a tough sell.
I agree that something needs to be done, the refs are going around doing whatever they want and they don't really have a way to keep them in check. Like Duncan getting kicked out for laughing on the bench. Even though Crawford got suspended, the team still gave up a point for a non-issue. If it was a one point loss, there would be hell to pay.
But it might be cost prohibitive to do all that you are asking, but nice thinking outside the box.
