Would it be crazy to start Rush if he is signed and bring Young off the bench? I mean looking at the roster, besides Lou Williams, the sixers really don't have an offensive threat coming off the bench. I think with Brand in the lineup, Rush would have so many open looks.

Starters:
Miller
Rush
Iggy
Brand
Dalembert

Bench:
Lou Williams
Green
Young
Evans
Smith

That's a nice squad, especially in the East.

It might make sense to do that but i would prefer thad starting. I think for him to develop into the player we think he could be, he needs to feel that he's a starter, not a role player.
That second group is an energy group if i ever saw one. I'd take this team into the season and be happy with it.....

Thad will start. With Thad starting we still have Rush (8ppg), Green (12ppg as a starter) and Lou (11ppg) off the bench. I think that's plenty. Reggie will probably give us like 4 which is just fine as long as he's gettin those 7 boards. And Smith will give us 5-6ppg or so. Add that with whatever Speights and Ivey can give, it's not a bad bench at all.

Didn't realize Green averaged 12 a game last year. Anyway, It's a damn shame JaMont won't be apart of this.

Real good signing if we get him, he can play a little 3 but mostly 2. Still start Thad with the Andre's though

Given that many of us have been whispering "Kareem Rush" for the whole summer, it would be something to smile about.

But lets not get ahead of ourselves and wait till this is a more serious thing.

And the idea of starting Rush isn't bad actually, as he and Green are both SG's, but lets hope Cheeks finds a good way to work the rotations, since -as already mentioned- I want him to develop confidence as a starter.

Rush starting over Thad what a joke. Overall Rush will give us badly needed perimeter scoring off the bench. I must say we have to have one of the deepest banches in the league.

I'm not real thrilled at starting Iggy at the 3 again that was an awful experiment. Also what is the point in having Thad if you don't play him in his natural position. Starting Rush would be a huge slap in the face to Thad he has come a long way.
