lol, naw, its funny to see some of the media react and some of the deals that were supposedly out there. I think these writers are hating on the Grizz way too much. It pisses me off actually that they don't look at any of the positives for the Grizz.

Of all the other deals is there one you guys liked better?

From what I understand the Laker deal was originally Kwame and Vlad for Gasol, no picks, no young talent.

The Bulls deal was Nocioni and pieces, but the Bulls didn't want to part with Deng.

If somehow the Grizz management can get some great talent from the draft and pick up huge talent from the upcoming free agents, then I feel that this might of been the best move for the future.

Depending on how things unfold the next two seasons will determine if this was bad or not. It just hurts now cause the lakers get to open there present now. And the grizzlies have to wait until next year to open there present. Were just gonna have to wait.

Problem is that picks coming from LA are going to be 20+ picks. So the GM has to be very smart (or very lucky) to get someone really useful. Good thing is they will develop faster in Memphis than in the team providing the pick because they will have low to no competition here, so it could work. And then they have all the cap space in the world to get a big star (only Miami and a couple more will have that space next or in two years)

Yeah but there is always helpful players in the first round. You just have to scout well.

Chris wallace isnt really making his case for being reformed manager. He was horrible in boston. So far not so good here. Only time can tell though.
