I'm the recipient of a double lung transplant, and have had the opportunity to meet and get to know my donor's family. It's impossible to explain the feelings surrounding that relationship. I owe them and their loved one my life.

The Henry story was fantastic. I hope that those of you that saw it would make sure to take the steps necessary to become an organ and tissue donor. Some donors can benefit as many as 3 dozen recipients! Most of us think about heart, kidney, etc, but lungs, liver, corneas, skin...it's an amazing gift. Truly the gift of life.
