I invested pretty heavy into volatility with the presumption that the market should go down, but it just hasn't happened yet. Bad news has no effect and good news sends everything up.

crude oil has been great for me this year. i got in near the low. i was prepared to hold it on for a very long term but i didn't expect it to rush back up so quickly. well, i already sold 80% of it. if it continues to trend up, it'll be bonus. if it falls back down, i'll just load up again.

My trusted sources tell me a bump in the road this month...
will cause a crash in September.

but I'm usually wrong... so let's see how this plays out.

Will be an interesting summer... and an even more interesting winter.

but one day at a time... one day at a time.

How do we feel about wind & solar?

I think I'm gonna pass... but idk... could be our main source of energy
in 15-20 years.... if not sooner.

They are pushing this climate change stuff pretty hard down our throats.

I'll post some stock symbols later tonight that I have taken interest to.
looks like the Dow J broke even today.

I could definitely see wind and solar as our primary power sources in like 50 years, but I probably wouldnt invest in either of them. Until someone figures out how to control the sun and wind, its going to be hard for solar/wind companies to make big money outside of building new infastructure.

These power sources arent like fossil fuels where you always need to go out and collect more of the power source, the wind and sun are just there. With renewables you really only have one chance to make money off of it, the first time you install the panels or windmill. The upkeep costs that have made fossil fuels so incredibly profitable just dont exist with renewables.

As more windmills and solar panels get installed, the demand for more renewable products (windmills and solar panels) decreases. This is the opposite of what happens with fossil fuels, more burned fossil fuels = more demand for fossil fuels.

Will be putting a lot of emphasis on silver in the coming years.

    I think it's a wise investment.
