He also has no idea how to throw a good entry pass in the post. He's always throwing them at terrible times, and bad angles.

Even his bounce passes were mostly behind from what I saw. Examples are the 1st play and 2:10 mark.

He's lucky LeBron has such good hands because you know Bosh won't be catching any of them, although that probably isn't saying much since he has worse hands than Braylon Edwards.

Chalmers is a horrible PG IMO .. you put him on a team that doesn't have a Lebron/Wade and he would be severely exposed. I would take about 30 PG's over him to be completely honest .. top 15 is an absolute joke.

Chamers Will Never be on Rondo's Level cause he has a different skillset and frankly is not as Good. However he can score and Play his DFisher Role but for him to truly be an above average Player he will NEED to improve his passing and Court Vision which quite Frankly for a PG is Subpar.

rondo and fisher comparisons are horrible. just horrible. rio will always be judged for how he can hit the open shot to keep the spacing respectable. everything else is just gravy. he doesnt have a lot of pressure to succeed in that miami starting PG role.

I wish Chalmers all the best. Seems like he is in a great situation for him to succeed with the big two + Wade.

Prob like Fisher. But thats not a bad thing at all, because young D Fish was pretty good.

every offseason chalmers works on a part of his game and improves greatly at that one aspect.

we saw his immense improvement in 2011 after what he worked on in the summer of 2010

Then, in the summer of 2011 he worked on driving to the basket and 'FINISHING' .. Us heat fans were very frustrated with Chalmers for his lack of finish at the basket. He used to drive us crazy. But this year he was superb at it, and oftentimes we were confused thinking that was Wade who just drove and made that very nice finish at the rim, just to discover it was chalmers that made the beautiful play.

He still needs to improve in other areas of the game, and it will be interesting to see his evolution

A slightly more athletic version of Fisher which isn't bad at all especially for the Heat because they need their PG to be more of a shooter/scorer than a passer/facilitator anyways.

I think Cole will end up being better than him though.

D-Fish had a great career and despite being outshined by other PG's of his era he was very consistent in what he brought to the team. The intangibles - like performing in the clutch, high pressure moments, healthy +++++. That's something those who were "miles better" usually lacked. So, there is no shame in being compared to Fish at all. Chalmers is a solid PG to fill that starter spot to a team looking for a championship type of piece lacking the ability to get any of top point guards. As long as he's healthy and consistent in what he brings he has a solid future in the league.

As if being another Derek Fisher is a bad thing considering the career he's had.
