The problem with the Knicks being so bad this years is they they don't have a draft pick. There is no point in tanking if you have no pick.

I don't think they necessarily quit. They just suck. Are they competing hard and playing with maximum effort? No, but to act like effort is the only thing keeping them from being a good team is naive.
And a little note here: How come nobody seems to have noticed how unbelievably atrocious that Bargnani trade was? They gave up a first round pick for that guy. What if they suck in 2016? They won't have a lottery pick because they traded for a guy who everyone knows is no good...everyone but the Knicks apparently.

Technically, the last center other than Noah who had a triple double was Roy Hibbert last season with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 blocks. Noah had few triple doubles besides the one he had with the Knicks.
There are several centers who had triple doubles after 1979. If he meant assists instead of blocks then he is still wrong because Brad Miller had triple doubles with that. Shaq too in 2006.
