I've been to San Diego; its nice, but the downtown area is so tiny. You need a car to get to all the attaractions, mostly beaches.

Very chill vibe, practically surreal. And the Zoo is awesome. So is Seaworld.

yea ive been up in new orleans alot and there is alot to do. Baton Rouge is sucks ass dude. New orleans cost of living is too high though unless you want to stay in the ghetto.

not true. if you live in nothern new orleans area near the lake, it's a bit more affordable, or if you want to live in the suburb area, getting to new orleans from there is very easy.

I still don't really understand this thread. I don't know what Compton is like, but do people really think Brooklyn as a whole is like East NY/Brownsville? In fact, 99% of NY isn't like that. It just so happens that I can just afford cheap places like that(my rent is 100 a weak), but let me tell you, a lot of Brooklyn is pretty safe and nice. Granted, there are still some bad areas in Bed-Stuy and Crown Heights.

Though, my advice is avoid East NY, unless you don't mind trying to fall asleep to the sound of gun shots, sirens and dogs barking. I live on Miller Ave. which can be a pretty crazy street at night. Actually, considering I'm skinny and white, it's a miracle I don't get fucked with. In general, I'd say regardless of the area, if you're smart, aware and mind your own business, chances are you'll be fine.

If I had to choose, Brooklyn. Brooklyn has some pretty nice areas. Compton, for the most part, is all shit.

But I agree on San Diego. Easily one of my favorite cali cities.

I'm not as familiar with that part. I live in East NY obviously and use to live in Bed-Stuy and I hang out in Brownsville and sometimes, Flatbush(which isn't bad either), though East Flatbush(which is a seperate neighborhood) can be rough.
