Finally Got Around to Watching Arrested Development 4th Season
And while I was expecting to be disappointed, I thought they did a pretty good job. Loved the way the episodes were structured. Yea, it would have been nice to see more of the characters interacting, but they made it work.
-I liked how they made Michael an absolute mess this season. However, the first episode is by far the worst of the new season. Maybe laughed once.
- The Lindsay episodes were too long imo. She simply can't carry a whole episode on her own. They weren't bad, but at times they got kind of boring. Loved the Herbert Love character though.
-George Sr. episodes were good. Loved the interactions between him and Oscar. His storyline had a lot more potential, but it works.
-Buster surprisingly does a pretty damn good job of carrying a whole episode. Was lmao throughout most of the episode. Especially the beginning and all the army tests has to take.
-The Sudden Valley storyline was great. Especially when all the sex offenders moved there. Lost it when the kid jumped into the crowded pool and the town was empty by the time he came above the surface.
-Micheal Cera is just a terrible, terrible actor. He has no range and all, and just came off annoying this season. One of the best parts of the new season is you get to through a huge chunk of episodes before having to deal with him. Why do people like this guy again? Ugly and no charisma.
-Tobias' storyline was definitely my favorite. Laughed from beginning to end at both his episodes. Easily my favorite character. Hasn't lost a step. Only thing I would have done different is found him a different actress/comedian to be his love interest. Bamford wears on your nerves after awhile.
-Arnett was definitely the MVP of the season. He really brought his A game to season 4. He just made everything work.
