That's PART of the excuse, since Lebron missed the playoffs twice despite having an all-star center - so obviously, Jordan is superior since he never missed the playoffs despite having no all-star teammates like Lebron always did.
But the OTHER reason is that Jordan simply played in a much tougher conference that required him to defeat THREE TIMES as many 50-win teams during his playoff career, as ESPN pointed out.
So while Lebron didn't have to play championship-level teams until the Finals, Jordan was playing the champs in the first round... For example, 22-year old Lebron didn't have to play the Spurs championship team and #1 defense until the Finals (22 ppg on 35%), whereas 22-year old Jordan played the champion 86' Celtics and their #1 defense in the 1st Round (44 ppg on 50%).. yikes

Why did Jordan lose in the 1st round with 0 all-star teammates, while LeBron won a championship with 0 all star teammates vs a 73 win team?
Winning a championship vs 1-9 with an identical roster

Playing dumb makes you look bad - everyone knows that Kyrie and Love are in their prime and were all-stars when Lebron arrived in Cleveland - you're not fooling anyone.. Otoh, Jordan's 1-9 was alongside guys who were never all-stars.
Also, Jordan won his first ring without any "current" all-stars (like Lebron this year) and he won 2 more rings with just 1 all-star (Pippen) - whereas Lebron has always needed at least 2 all-stars (Wade/Bosh or Love/Kyrie).

Lebron missed the playoffs twice WITH an all-star, while Jordan never missed the playoffs despite not having an all-star.
And again - Jordan simply played in a much tougher conference that required him to defeat THREE TIMES as many 50-win teams during his playoff career, as ESPN pointed out.
