Lol at clowns saying Terry Porter

Porter up outplayed Drexler in a number of playoff series because of how better his half court game was. His HCO was one of the best of all PGs in his era

This is a nikka who straight destroyed a prime John Stockton h2h in the 92 WCF to make the finals.
https://www.basketball-reference.com...l-blazers.html

Just lmfao at the thought of Lousy ever playing at that level against a top PG. He's been outplayed by damn near every top PG he's faced. Wall smacked him a couple times, Kyrie waxed his ass, ffs he got clamped and outplayed by George Hill,

And I'm not sure why nikkas bringing up all-star selections....if he stayed in the West he'd have never made one. Him going Least and becoming perennial all-star is no coincidence

Derek Harper is prolly the best comp here

Lowry plays really hard in the regular season. But, he doesnt have another gear to go to because he already plays there for 82 games. He is a hard player to compare because I've never seen anyone like that.

I really think he is overrated.

Lowry is awful. Like a poor man's version of Lester Conner.

That's an interesting take but I'm pretty sure he's above the top of the league on a consistent basis in impact on his team (I don't remember which metrics but I'm sure the stat guys would know). Which kind of sets him apart as the clear cut best player on those Raptors teams and it's not close. His impact has been huge for them.

Easy to tell who doesn't know anything about basketball in this thread. Those saying Lowry sucks or is overrated clearly don't know shit about ball.

He doesnt suck but hes clearly overrated. There used to be retards putting him as a top 5 PG

youd have to be delusional to think otherwise

RS doesnt matter much. Playoffs show his and _efrozens true colors

Price was a perennial All NBA guy in his prime and 1st team at his peak. He ran top tier offenses at his best and it wasnt due to his bench being amazing like the craptors where he can sit and have them running sht with his backup (FVV) arguably being just as impactful if not more than him

Skillwise Price wasnt much worse than Nash if at all. And he was a more capable defender too. Wasnt as good a shooter but not much worse or made as many crazy passes but he was a better ballhandler, driver/slasher and just as good in pickandroll. Put him with Dantoni with those Suns teams with Amare, Marion, Diaw etc and they dont do much worse at all. Lousy is nowhere near prime Price

I agree with Kenny Anderson, Brandon is smaller but a lot smarter IMO.
Another guy he reminds me of is Mookie Blaylock.
Terry Porter is a better shooter but also chokes in the playoffs like Lowry.

I'm not sure he was worse as a shooter, TBH. Nash picked his spots with his shooting more than Price did, who had no problems creating space for his jumpshots off the dribble or letting it fly in a defender's face. And as I said before, he was a 50/40/90 guy at a point when the league wasn't even set-up for small guards like that to have those kinds of numbers( like it was in 2005 when Nash took off to MVP status). At his peak he was giving you something like 19/9 and 18/8 which isn't too far off the mark from what Nash was doing in Antoni's system with more play-finishers around him.
