I love how every one is a homer when it comes to figuring out possible trades for their own teams. Some of these trade proposals are far from intelligent.

any truth to the rumors the Clippers are entertaining offers for the #1 pick? if so i say the Suns and Clippers need to work a deal, we can give up the #14 pick, and Amare, you give up the #1 and any garbage to make the salaries work, and its all good, Suns need a Blake Griffin type and the Clippers need an Amare type!

hope this is not a "non intelligent" idea, i mean i tried to stay completely fair in this trade idea and make both teams feel good, giving up Amare is a big move and would hurt the Suns but getting someone like Griffin will soften the blow, on the other hand Amare gives LA Clipps a All Star player and threat of offense, put him at the PF with Kaman, or Camby, heck run him at the C, you got a nice squad to put around him, and make some noise with!

How about Kaman, Brian Skinner, Ricky Davis to the Mavericks for Dampier and the rights to Terrence Williams/Chase Budinger.

Mavs get two solid post defenders in Kaman and Skinner. Clippers unload 2 front court players and get a decent prospect.

Camby | Jordan | Dampier
Z-Bo | Griffin | Steve Novak?
Thornton | Mavs Pick |
Eric Gordon | Fred Jones?
Baron Davis | Mardy Collins | Mike Taylor

Terrence Williams would be a perfect fit, he plays the 2 or the 3, defends his ass off and can be a playmaker and doesn't need the ball to play well. He is still athletic as hell and improved his jumper alot and will give Al Thornton a run for his job.

no thanks but you can have kaman and camby for shaq

i'd actually kill to see shaq in our lineup this season with Baron, Gordon, Thornton and Griffin, i think that lineup if healthy makes playoffs without a DOUBT, and then either way at the end of the season we get The Big Expirer off the books and start re-signing the younger guys.

oh dont get it twisted, i dont want to trade Amare, i honestly just think he is tired of the direction we been going and will opt out and roll, and you cant lose a talent of his nature and not get something in return, we cant be like Orlando when they lost Shaq via the Lakers offering more money and the Magic got zero in return
