I'll defend my position that the genre of rap isn't just low-brow talking about 40's, *******, gats, and the hood.... but you're obviously not interested in that. All you're interested in is a good troll, and to make statements in circles to avoid getting called out for your shi.
If it's so awesome, how come you don't listen to it? Usually when you think something is good, you listen to it. That always made sense to me anyway.
As crazy as it sounds, I like to hear people that can actually... you know... Sing.
If you've been here for 11 years, you're AT LEAST 25 years old, and with a name like "Hotlanta" I can safely assume you have heard intelligent, non-hood, rap at some point in your life. Whether you enjoyed it or not, you are aware that witty and well-made and well-written shit is out there... which makes your statement that its all "n*gga-this" and "pit-bull-that" a desperate attempt to get a rise out of someone.
I haven't heard close to everything, but I've heard Tupac, Talib Kweli, Eminem, Mos Def, Ice Cube and some others and none of them have struck in my head long after listening to them.
But the point from the start was that chump questioned my taste and I questioned his in return. That's what that was about. I don't even watch wrestling weekly anymore and haven't since 2001... But I'll take the shit over those so called "reality TV" and all these over-hyped TV shows on a Monday Night when I'm bored. So sue me.
But anyway.... Lyrics alone never impressed me. Music is about just a bit more than that to me.

Where did I say it was "awesome"??
Where did I say it was "good"??
I simply said there's more to the genre than the shit you were spewing.

Funny you mention some of those guys, seeing as how rappers like Mos Def dramatically stray from the simple, generic, lyrics and content you posted and of which you showed such disdain.
Nice try though, silly troll

So you don't think it's awesome or even good? Then why are you bothering to defend it in the first place? Why bother defending something that you don't think is even good?

The success of pieces of ghetto shit like him is reflective of the poor shape of music the last 20 something years along with people's increasingly shitty taste.

True. Trish was great in her prime, but she still gets hyped up as if she is a 10 at this point. True... Until a few weeks ago when she made her comeback it had been YEARS since I had seen her. I didn't watch wrestling hardly at all from 2002-early 2010. But I get bored and check it out every once and a while now.

Sunny wasn't a wrestler though. Having superior wrestling skill over Sunny isn't saying much. Trish is terribly overrated in the ring, same goes for Lita. Molly Holly, Jazz, Victoria,Lita and Trish just did a few moves here and there.
