Uh not really.

Shaq was swept out of the playoffs only once in 94.

Every other year he got his teams past the 1st round.

In comparison Jordan lost 3 times in the 1st round (twice to sweeps)
Hakeem lost 8 times in the 1st round (most to sweeps)

When Shaqs team lost or got swept it is because he was surrounded by absolute garbage.
Shaq was the 2nd best playoff performer in the 90's after Jordan

------------------
The only two exceptions are 95 and 96 where he did have decent rosters.

95 = (where Nick Anderson cost them G1 and lost the series because of poor play by his roleplayers and great play by the Rockets roleplayers)

96 = where they faced the 96 Bulls
(no shame to be swept by them)
------------------

Take a look at how he performed in Elimination games over the years.

Quote:
Shaq in Elimination games.

93 - Magic miss out playoffs by 1 Game.
Game 82 VS Atlanta :

Shaq : 31 / 18 / 3ast on .750%FG / .636%FT

Game 4 @ Houstan :

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

96 - Magic swept by Bulls in 4 Games.
Game 4 VS Chicago :

Shaq : 28 / 9 / 3ast / 3blk on .846%FG (11-13) / .667%FT (6-9)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

97 - LA loses to Utah in 5 Games.
Game 5 @ Utah :

Shaq : 23 / 13 / 5ast on .530%FG

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

98 - LA swept by Utah in 4 Games.
Game 4 VS Utah :

Shaq : 38 / 7 on .583%FG

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

99 - LA swept by Spurs in 4 Games.
Game 4 VS Spurs :

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

00 - LA beats Indiana in 6 Games.
Game 6 VS Indiana :

Shaq : 41 / 12 / 4blk on .594%FG

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

01 - LA beats Sixers in 5 Games.
Game 5 @ Philidelphia :

Shaq : 29 / 13 / 5blk on .556%FG

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

02 - LA sweeps Nets in 4 Games.
Game 4 @ New Jersey

Pretty much every ATGreat has lost 6+ times in the playoffs.

Shaq only once failed to lead his team past the first round while most ATGreats have lost multiple times in the 1st round.

Its better to get swept in the 2nd Round, CNFinalz or Finalz then it is to lose in 5-7 games in the first round.

If Jordan was so great how come he lost 7 times in the playoffs.
How come he got swept 3 times in the first round?
How come he got swept by the Shaq led Magic in 95?

Trying to judge individuals by team failures or even successes is very stupid imo.

Shaq was usually the best player in those series in which they got "swept" outside of maybe 95 and 97.

Owning would require anything you said to refute that he got swept 6 times.. I didn't see that anywhere, so I'm guessing you failed.

Getting swept because you're team wasn't good enough to beat the opposing team while being the best or close 2nd best player in the series is not a bad thing.

Its just a fact that the better team always wins and an individual cannot change that no matter how good he is or how well he plays.

You got owned because you tried to hate on Oneal and were proven to be a stupid blubbering idiot.

It's embarrassing, Shaq is nowhere even near the all-time greats, if you get swept 6 times in the playoffs it means you are just not good enough.

Waits for 32dayz to start crying

I didn't get owned or hate on O'neal once, so your very bad at reading. I hated on you for arguing against a fact. I didn't argue against any of the facts you brought in I simply said they didn't change the Op's statement from being true.

Are you going to write another paragraph or more and say owned at the end again?

You're a bad Troll.

Shaq was only swept in 5 series.

94 - Best player in the series
95 - Very close 2nd best player in the series
96 - Best player in the series (or very close 2nd best its debatable)
98 - Very close 2nd best player in the series
99 - Best player in the series (or very close 2nd best its debatable)

As you can see he was pretty much always either the best or a very close 2nd best player in those series. The difference was the opposing teams as a whole were much better.
One player cannot make up for the mistakes or deficiency's of their teams if they are so great in comparison to the opposing teams.

The point is the OP is a Troll trying to act like those teams were swept because of some sort of deficiency by Shaq.

When the truth is Shaq was either the best or a very close 2nd best player in those series.

Those Shaq teams only lost (or got swept) because the opposing teams as a whole were much better (or played much better)

Outside of 95 and 96 his Casts were complete and utter garbage.
95 - He led them to the Finals
96 - Lost to the 96 Bulls one of the GOAT Teams.

Oneal accomplished as much as he could have in the 90's with the mostly trash rosters he was given and the teams he faced.

It's truly embarrassing and humiliating to have been swept that many times.

Shaq was washed up after 06, I could care less what he failed or accomplished after that.

Point is many other of the truly top ATGreats have been swept just as many times or almost as many times and have lost many more times in earlier rounds then Oneal did.
(Dont tell me its better to lose in 7 games in the 2nd round then to get swept in the Finals.

It makes no sense to try and single him out and act like he was different especially considering in most of those sweeps he was either the best player or a very close 2nd best player.

The OP is just a dumb Troll who should be banned.
