Sounds strange they wouldnt have any form of fire arms going on a lion safari. SHyt happens, esp. in the wild, doesnt make sense for them not to bear arms in case of somehting

I have been on 3 tours in Africa both in Kenya and Tanzania on every safari there was never a armed person with us

the only form of protection we had was the car and to stay in it
