I don't see how. He just did the best job out of everyone who guarded him, LeBron still shot poorly regardless. Green and the rest of the Warriors holding the rest of the Cavs to even more abysmal shooting numbers was much more important than playing Bron like the Mavs and Spurs played him in the other finals. Curry spreading the floor and collapsing the defense on the offensive end was also just as important, if not more important as well.

I would say Curry is one of the rare exceptions to an otherwise consistent paradigm. He just happens to be the GOAT shooter who demands a lot of attention on the defensive end - the "Shaq" of perimeter players if you will. The way Blatt collapsed his whole defense on him was a sight to see. It opened up opportunities for so many other players to score and Iggy capitalized on it the most. He didn't win FMVP, but he just has to be on the floor and pass out of double teams for his impact to show.
