That was one hell of a game last night. Gil really showing the people he's a superstar in the NBA and Kobe hating on Gil saying he was taking too many shots, when he put up 62 against Dallas last year and his 81 and in both those games he was the only one in double figures. Antwain Jamison, Caron Butler, and Deshawn Stevenson were in double figures in the game, so Kobe need to shut his 30 shot taking ass up.

Last time I checked, only two of those cats are scoring better than Gilbert at this point in the season. And that's about to change in both since both are now on the same team. There is no way both 'Melo and Iverson will be able to maintain their 30+ averages...they very well could, but it would be at the expense of winning games, so they're going down maybe 2 or 3 pts in their averages
Also, someone mentioned Kobe scored his 81 in 4 quarters while Gilbert needed OT to get 60. Well, that's true, but consider this:
Who was guarding Gilbert for most of his 60-point game? Kobe, a 3-time champion and former All-Defensive Team member, who's still arguably the most dangerous and consistent offensive player in the L, and of course, owner of the 81-point game.
Who was guarding Kobe for most of his 81-point game? Morris Peterson, owner of the longest tenure as a Toronto Raptor, and champion in his own right....back in college.
Kobe's 81 came against a lesser opponent. Gilbert's 60 came against a very worthy opponent. Does that make GA better? Nope, but it does mean that on that night, the underdog had its day.
kobe is better the gilbert so kobe has the right to say what he wants to say. kobe is the best player in the league today.
well, on the other hand, Gilbert gets the better of Kobe every time they meet. he always lights up LA. not to this degree but he does. if Kobe's going to talk, he should try not getting roasted once in a while. if he's so much better he should show it.
