Default Andrew Bynum finishes 4th in Most Improved Player voting

OC Register:

Bynum finished tied for fourth in the voting for the NBA's Most Improved Player award, not really something a seventh-year pro is supposed to win with the ballot asking for an "up-and-coming" player.
But Bynum's breakthrough season still got him enough votes to tie with Detroit's second-year center Greg Monroe for fourth behind Ryan Anderson, Ersan Ilyasova and Nikola Pekovic. Bynum probably should have been ahead of Monroe, as one first-place vote went to the similar-sounding Andrew Bogut, who hardly played this season.
Brown said of Bynum, 24: "He had a heck of a season compared to last season."

The thing with Bynum is he was good in the past, he just had a few freak injuries. While he's definitely improved I can see why he wasn't voted the most improved. It's odd to me that Greg Monroe was on that list too.... he's been really good through his entire (yet short) NBA career.

A SHOUT OUT to Andrew Bynum : Let me start by saying to you that you need to grow up and hold yourself accountable for your actions by getting rid of the rock faster when opposition counteracts with double and tripple teams, you need to read & react much faster by passing it back out of the post with crisp passes.Furthermore stop trying to bring the ball down around your knees causing your team turnovers, keep it high and tight play big above the rim and stop missing them chippy shots.Drew man play with the beast like demeanor in you and start playing like you actually gives a damn bout your Lakers team. This Lakers team is yours to run for the next decade because you will be the marquee player who sells the tickets once Kobe's gone and if you cant bring your A game each and every night then we the Lakers fans don't want a leader with no heart and desire who pouts man up or ship out. I can almost see the headlines in the LA TIMES come August " Lakers trade inconsistent Bynum to magic for D HO" who brings it every night guaranteed!
