Default Kobe is injured

I was reading the bottom ticker on ESPNEWS and it said Kobe had a knee surgery and is expected to miss 9-12 weeks and will also miss US Summer Basketball Training Camp. Is this going to affect his game during the regular season or in the Summer Games? What do you guys think?

i hope not. injuries are tricky man, you never know how they could end up or how could they affect a player. what i heard is that he already got the surgery, it was to remove a cartliage or something. it sounds not so serious, lets just hope kobe can bounce back

It's a minor surgery, so he should definately be 110% when the season starts..

Default kobes injury

he'll be fine. he just had his knee scoped. its not that big a deal. most athletes have this done to their knees, wrists, and shoulders at one time or another

But hopefully removing that scar tissue will allow him to gaurd some of those smaller guys.

Phil was saying Kobe dealt with tendinitis this year and that would probably be a factor for him to not make all defensve team.

It is a minor arthroscopic surgery. We all know Kobe is a fierce competator and has an amazing work ehtic. I can see him bouncing back from this. But like you said his defense could take a blow. I certainly hope not.

I leave you with some of Kobe Bryant's Best Defensive Plays... Enjoy.

This is another example of what makes Kobe better than Shaq.

Kobe gets the surgery done now so he doesn't miss the majority of training camp and a part of the regular season. Shaq would get the surgery done the day before the season starts so he extend his summer vacation.
