Smile Tim Duncan reached Rick Barry in FTs

Funny, tonight Tim Duncan reached Rick Barry in total free throws made (3,818).

The only difference is, Duncan needed 1,371 attempts (5,614) more than Barry! (4,243) :)

Best active players in total free throws made are Allen Iverson (5,387), Shaquille O'Neal (5,273) and Kobe Bryant (5,029).

Well, you'd expect that from a 7 foot post player compared to the second greatest free throw shooter in NBA history.

I don't expect Duncan shoots the same percentage than Barry.

Some shoot the FTs well, some don't.

Shaquille O'Neal missed more FTs (4,775) than all but 28 hit.
Wilt Chamberlain missed more FTs (5,805) than all but 13 hit.

Otherwise, next to Duncan on the list is Dirk Nowitzki (3,804 FTs made), and he needs only 4,380 attempts.

There is no Duncan bashing in my post!

If opening night was any indicator, Kobe will be in first by December 1st. Book it

Maggette's current numbers are 2,789/3,399.
In a few years he can reach 5,000!

Dwayne Wade would probably reached that record in less than 5 years.

I disagree.

He'll be in the wheelchair again after shooting so many free throws.
