Well I see a couple problems.

Shaq in the Lane really reduces the space Lebron has to work with on his drives. His mid range J isn't elite and he's never really worked weakside.

The way Shaq and Kobe worked sometimes, it was clear that Phil wanted Kobe to work more Iso's and take the midrange J's to clear up the lane and let Shaq get his on the boards.

Lebron would likely have to change his game alot , in terms of immediately posting Shaq and then waiting....

Pick and roll is a fantasy, the reality is that Shaq always hated Pick and Roll in his prime, he was not mobile enough to maximize his effectiveness in it.

Maybe with Shooters it could work to be honest, but I don't like it , It takes away from Brons game and what he can do for me, Iso scorers who can slash are a better fit with Shaq.

    Magic and Shaq

with 3 athletic Swingmen to run and shoot.

Would be the most entertaining thing ever with Magic running the break and Shaq just dunking on people down low in the halfcourt.

hakeem olajuwon and walt frazier. complete players, clutch, savvy, made others better, unselfish.

seems like a lot of answers are for the best two on two pairing not the best pairing within a five on five.

    Michael Jordan & Wilt Chamberlain

    - Wilt from when he was averaging 50.4 ppg, 25.7 rebounds, and surely a bunch of block.

    - Young Jordan with around 35 ppg, 6 assists, 2.5 steals etc...

Wilt scores inside and can't be stopped, rebounds, plays great defense.

    Jordan does was Jordan does.

Bird and Shaq in their primes could beat prime MJ and Hakeem, idk m. That might be the first thing I've agreed with this sock account on.

They wouldn't be the best, but for some reason I would love to see prime T-Mac paired with prime KG.

I hate that we basketball fans didn't get to see prime T-Mac and prime Grant Hill come to fruition for a whole couple seasons.
