Hey, I like your team this year. I think they have great potential. Your ownership is just a mess. I'll never root for them though because:

A) You have JJ, and I want him back here.

B) You need to suck for 1 more year because we own your pick next year.

Just one more year of frustration for Hawks fans is all we need here. JK.

JJ sucks. All you had to do was see his performance against New Jersey tonight.

He's averaged 25 a game through the first 3 games. Hardly crappy.

If that had been any other team in the league its fans would be upset as well. You can't help but not be. I'm extremely excited for this season, my team has started off even better than last year. And with the addition of Grant Hill > James Jones and Brian Skinner who is proving himself to be cheaper and more valuable than KT I truly believe PHX is a better team than last year.

Everybody needs to lay off Rab, he was telling the board how he felt and to see if anyone felt the same. If you don't feel the same way then just say you don't but don't attack a well respected poster on his feelings about the season.

I'm always excited at the beginning of season, then it drifts down after that. And back up when playoffs start.

He's trying to show how much of an immature retard he is. It was pretty clear to me. Look deeper.

This year, I've really had to try hard to even be excited about basketball again. I've chalked it up to a few things.

1. I've invested too much time and emotion into a league that I just can't see as that credible anymore.

Really? That's an extreme stance.

2. I'm still harboring bitterness about the way the Suns were bounced out of the playoffs.

I don't think the suns were jobbed.

3. I don't feel any great hope of my team winning the championship, which is hard to get used after the passed 3 years. I have no faith in our front office.

This is the root of the backlash you have received.
Many ppl will associate the identity of the team with the fanbase. (Phoenix = soft)

You shouldn't feel obligated to trust the front office of the team you root for if you have been repeatedly let down. Only a true homer would do that.

4. I'm just busier than I ever have been. Something has to take a backseat, and in this case, basketball might just be that thing.

In all likelihood, this has the greatest impact.

It was pretty clear to me the op is a crybaby like most Suns fans. How did the Suns get jobbed in the playoffs? Please explain? Damn fair weather fans.

It turned me off a bit. It sucks to think that there might have been games that weren't decided by the players on the court. That is why we watch is it not?

I don't either. I really never said that. People assume because of the team I root for. I am more disappointed that Amare and Diaw left the bench as I have said many times.

I probably should've explained that point better, but it would've required writing a novel. Wasn't really interested in doing that, so I can understand the backlash.

It has more to do with being on the brink of a title, and then taking steps in the opposite direction while still trying to say we will do everything necassary to keep the team intact. The way they tried to sell it to us afterwards, and the circumstances behind it took some of the luster out of the season.

Most likely indeed.
