Is there a reason for two dribbles or am I doing it wrong?
if you catch the ball off a swing, try taking off as soon as you catch it
you'll see two dribbles and a pull up works very well as your defender will immediately assumer after one dribble that you are trying to go to the rim
after the second dribble you'll have more than enough space to pull up, but off of a stand still it doesn't work as often because you don't have the advantage of having your defense off balance as you would if you caught the ball in a swing situation
