I'm a suns fan. Although, the Pacers are my 2nd favorite team, despite the fact that they suck. I think they need to just blow this whole pacer team up and start over. I agree with their decision of trading anthony johnson. Why? they are freeing up cap room. watch, wait til about 08 or 09, Pacers will be a team that makes the playoffs frequently.

they are a team that makes the playoffs frequently now though
Yes, indeed. We are perhaps the team with the most consecutive playoff appearances (I'm not positive about that, though). We've made it every year since the early 90's anyway.
that's a bit harsh. they need to play with some heart and put a full effort in winning every game. it's kinda crazy. they get beat by the bobcats by like 30 pts, but then they beat teams like the heat who became the champs.

i prefer calling that inconsistency...
they are also injury-prone... so the line-ups are gotta be very important...
Im a Bulls fan but for some reason I love the Pacers. For some reason I still think they are contenders...
The only reason they havnt done well the last 2 years is because of the fight, and because they are always injured.
If they get 75 games each out of Oneal, Tinsley, Jacko and foster and if they can get AL, I think they are better then Miami.
The only problem is Oneal, Foster, and Tinsley especially always miss huge chunks of the season. There not blowing things up yet, they wouldnt be after AL if they were. Just wait, its a big if, but if they are healthy they are the best team in the east IMO.

Marquis was a great little addition aswell.
you're right...3 years ago, when the whole team was healthy and no one was getting suspended, pacers were the best team in the league (record wise), with like a 62-22 records (something like that)
Anthony johnson is a player indiana needs...veteran leadership and he still has some juice left in him. he does great under coaches with high expectations.
PG - Tinsley (a star player when healthy)
SG - Daniels (a vary telented player and has lots of energy)
SF - Jackson (was once averaging 18ppg and a couple steals last season)
PF - Harrington (was averaging 19ppg and about 8rpg last season)
C - JO (the superstar of the team)
Now thats a hell of a starting lineup not to mention the bench
thats anything but a sucky team
Pacers are a true contender

i would rather have
PG - Tinsley
SG - Jackson
SF - Granger
PF - Harrington
C - Jermaine Oneal
Sixth man - Daniels
im pretty sure Granger has the 3 spot on lock, the only toss up will be who will be at SG; Jackson or Daniels?? I still think Jackson will take it
