When it comes to being a "natural talent" ... unless we're talking about Jordan ... pound-for-pound ... it doesn't get much better than AI.

Just imagined how great he could have been if the guy actually practiced.

#7 was not even that impressive. He took a lob for larry hughes and did some kind of DR J layup.

AI was a beast. Could you imagine him in this decade with this rules that favor perimeter players? I could see him averaging 30+ points for the whole decade easy while actually winning championships due to the centers being even worse than last decade.

If we're talking strictly talent, yes.

If we're talking the greatest players of all time, you should change your 1 to a 3 or 4.

What a play by Allen Iverson. Hughes and AI were called as the Flight Brothers.

Today's NBA is different. Teams are more balanced out in terms of scoring, this aint 2006, where you had 10 teams with 1 guy chucking 20+ shots a game man...He'd definitely average 30 for some seasons but I don't think his overall production would have been better in this era due to the way he approached the game. He was always about himself and not about the team.

Exactly. Just like Kobe up until 09. Then he finally realized that he needed teammates to win games for him and he became a better all-around player. Iverson never got to that point. He had a great opportunity in Denver but he was still chucking with Melo on the team. Imagine if he stayed there and actually focused on playing point and getting others easy shots. I think they would have made the Finals in 09 and beaten Orlando. Sad it didn't work out for him then, they actually traded him for Billups and he got benched in Detroit in favor of Stuckey and it went downhill from there.

Well, I'm not sad because Denver would have potentially blocked us from winning the 2 titles.
