In this country, a black kid has the opportunity to make something of himself. Will I acknowledge white people are living better per capita compared to black, yes, obviously... but let's not pretend it's on some 90/10 scale of quality of life. Whites still have it better than black, OK yes acknowledged that, still some work to be done... not quite on the 50/50 level yet, but at the same time stop crying and making excuses like you have absolutely no chance to make something of yourself out there in the real world.

There is alot of african american that travel. Last time in Cartagena, I saw plenty of them. The cheap merca, the light skinned morena hoes, the beach, the good weather, it just has to be in their right element and they will be there.

That's not my point. I was never debating black people not having a chance to succeed. The average person does have a chance to succeed (depends on what one considers success).

My point is that a black dude being president does not validate this claim. It has jack shit to do with black people succeeding. That's like telling a white teenage boy "Oh Bill Gates became a billionaire and didn't graduate from college so you should be able to succeed too." Different people, different circumstances. There have been black people in high ranking positions for decades. That doesn't mean shit to the average black person
