Default how will the lakers survive after kobe is gone

what will happen to this team after kobe retires? the only player they have locked up is andrew bynum who looks like he will put up decent numbers in 10 years or 15 since he is just a kid...(no he is not a kid, hes a 7ft 19 year old with millions of money. he better be an allstar or else he will be the biggest bust in nba history not only will it be embarrasing but imagine danny granger or gerald green being allstars and you guys picking a 17 years old idiot with the 10th pick

once again, another antagonistic post.

anyway, one cannot predict this sort of future. with kobe not in the equation, life will go on. the Lakers will adapt and bring in the necessary talent to continue the Laker heritage of winning.

I know..i agree...LA has a great owner because he knows how to get us back on winning levels when we have 1 bad season.

We wont ever have a period of time where were like the hawks or golden state.

We're always going to be better....And chill about bynum Bynum is Going to be good.

Lakers have won rings without Kobe and will win many more after he's gone.

Dude, you are an idiot! Sorry for being so blunt but Bynum at #10 was a good pick even if he doesn't become a superstar. How about Portland picking Sam Bowie before Micheal Jordan? That was the biggest bust in NBA history!!

What a thing to say!?!?!

10 years from now I wouldn't be surprised If kobe was still ballin' he'd be 38 years old and would still be one of the best considering how devoted kobe is with his work out regime he'd still be one the top conditioned athlete around. So who knows if Kobe will hang up his sneakers by then and if he doesn't it's better for the Lakers and the game of NBA to have Kobe around an elder spokesman of the game , a mentor and a legeng himself still playin' the game of BB . Eventhough Kobe wouldn't be as effective he'd still be one of the top 10 best players around and would serve as a good purpose in teaching the younger players how to be their best, come on afterall we're talkin' bout Kobe Freakin' Bryant.
