Default Re: How much does the Spurs falling apart help Duncan's legacy?

One of Tim duncans greatest assets was his leadership.

He didn't leave the organization in tatters. he left them in a good condition to continue going forward.

His impact will leave the longer he is away.

This helps Tims legacy to people who believe Pop is the mastermind behind everything.

To the people who watched his whole career, its just confirmation.

This season for the Spurs just exposes how detrimental a cancer like Kawhi can be

Has missed the whole season so far despite being cleared months ago, and is creating drama off the court which has shaken up the locker-room

Spurs succeed mostly on teamwork/chemistry/togetherness, so when their best player misses the whole season cause he can't handle soreness and then makes headlines by talking about leaving the franchise, obviously that has a domino effect on the entire team and staff

Doesn't affect Duncan's legacy in the slightest though, really at all. Kawhi is just a cancer and ruining a franchise from within, that's it
